That's What I Thought

Remaining positive while living in a negative world can be quite challenging.
As you may know I spend a fair amount of time doing artsy things. While doing said artsy things I also do a lot of thinking and listening. (a lot) As is customary my cellular device is always close by. Mine sings to me, it shows me reference photos and it has a beautiful feature called notes. This is where I often take time out of whatever I’m working on to tap out things that cross my mind either because I hear it or because I think it.
I recently decided that I needed to condense my epic collection of notes and it occurred to me that this is where, for the most part, I keep a lot of positive reminders. I will share with you a hint at what I found worthy of noting...

* The beginning of purpose is found in creating something that only you understand-tyler
* I don't believe a word you say but I can't stop listening
* To the person who is fighting some sort of personal crisis such as a disease or an addiction, a small amount of empathy and compassion can make a huge difference
I have scads of scripture references and the more lengthy ones, like this one, that when I stumble on and read them again, I am glad I made them noteworthy…
You possess a kind of inner force that seeks to guide you toward your life’s task—what you are meant to accomplish in the time that you have to live. In childhood this force was clear to you. It directed you toward activities and subjects that fit you natural inclinations, that sparked a curiosity that was deep and primal. In the intervening years, the force tends to fade in and out as you listen more to parents and peers, to the daily anxieties that wear away at you. This can be the source of your unhappiness—your lack of connection to who you are and what makes you unique. The first move toward mastery is always inward—learning who you really are and reconnecting with that innate force. Knowing it with clarity, you will find your way to the proper career path and everything else will fall into place. It is never too late to start this process.
Each one of these and all the many others not shared could have easily been an entire blog of their own!
